The Legend keeps on dancing…

First told of in the pages of the Mabinogion, this ancient tribe of warrior folk of funk, whose name is spoken in whispered tones wherever people gather to drink ale and dance, are known across the valleys of Wales as The Legendary Funky Love Posse.

Drums beat to announce their arrival while celestial horns sound over ivory keys that sparkle and chime. Bass and guitars boom and syncopate announcing the arrival of the high priest and priestesses to deliver sermons through the timeless songs of joy, funk, soul and downright grooviness to the masses.

These ain’t no babes in swaddling playing games – this is the motherload of Parliament, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, Chic, Sly & the Family Stone, Stevie Wonder and the pantheon of all that was created on earth to make your feet jump, hearts rise and souls explode.

Lose yourself in two hours of music, light and rhythm and you too will become a believer.

All offerings of gold and silver made to the Posse goes to support the Yogamobility charity, helping disabled people across Wales rediscover the joy of movement and manage chronic pain through gentle yoga practice and exercises.

For Bookings for your venue, we supply our own PA system and sound guy and can play pretty much any venue within reason. Our fees are competitive and ALL money goes to support the work of Yogamobility, and the band members and crew all give their time for free and perform because they love the music and the work of the charity.
